The current marketing site is designed to operate without advertising cookies. Essential technical storage may be used for security, language, accessibility, session continuity and other features requested by the visitor.
Categories
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention and requested settings.
- Preferences: language, accessibility, profile or device choices.
- Analytics: optional measurement of page performance and aggregated usage.
- Advertising: optional campaign delivery or measurement, used only when lawfully enabled with clear controls.
Consent and control
Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies should remain disabled until a clear choice is obtained where consent is required. Visitors must be able to reject optional technologies as easily as accepting them and later change their choice. Browser controls can also remove or block storage, although essential functions may then be affected.
Retention and third parties
Each technology should have a documented provider, purpose and lifespan. The production consent interface must list active technologies before they are deployed. Third-party providers may not use EthioPlay data for unrelated purposes unless separately and lawfully explained.
